“Survival Guide in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence in Design” Seminar and Workshop Held by UIMAUAM

The “Survival Guide in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence in Design” seminar and workshop, organized by the International Communication and Media Research Application and Research Center (UIMAUAM) operating under the Turkish-German University, was held on December 26, 2025.
The speaker of the event, Dr. Volkan Mengi, a faculty member of the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Communication, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, shared his knowledge and professional experience with the students. Within the scope of the seminar and workshop, the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on design processes, the use of AI tools in creative production, and emerging skill areas for designers were discussed. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive evaluation of the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, as well as the ethical, aesthetic, and professional transformations it may bring.
